Inner Workings

My old binder cover, with two old black and red Crayola markers I had laying around. Some of the material are random inside jokes (like the sander, babe), so don't expect to 'get' all of it!
(I'm suprised they let me keep it in school...)

(In the fifth grade...)

I'm not dead. I promise.

I haven't talked to you guys in a while, huh? Well, I promise I have some cool new art coming your way... among which is a final reference to the character drawn in my last post (Yamimaru).

Anyways... Let's talk
:fear:HORROR ANIME:fear:

I absolutely adore anime, in case you didn't know, and not just Bleach and Naruto (actually, never got into Bleach...). Obscure ones. Creepy ones. Not just Death Note, even though I loves me some Death Note. Today's subject?: Perfect Blue.

Fabulous movie, great animation, creepy as all get out. Satoshi Kon's first cinematic work. It follows Mima Kirigoe, an idol singer who wants to get a more serious acting career. Now, she finds a website called Mima's Room, a supposed diary of hers, although she never recalls any of it, and the details covered are too minute to be a hoax. Does she have a split personality? Or is it (CLICHE POWER!) something worse?

...to be honest, I've never heard my heart pounding in my chest when I watched an anime. But once I got to the second murder, you could here it clearer than the movie.

I highly recommend it to somebody who wants a good psychological scare.

...heh, I've added Me-Mania to my list of cosplay ideas (for those of you who don't know, Me-Mania is Mima's crazy stalker).

Nee, Kana-chan, are you going to Sakuracon? I might but I need ideas for cosplay... do you have any?

If you're one of the 97% of fans that nearly died of a heart attack while reading D.Gray-Man 182, post this in your sig (I found this somewhere...)
:iconmelee-of-mine:
I don't know... if I were, I'd probably still be Kana!

Um... what anime do you like?

I don't know... I'm thinking of being the human version of Amaterasu from Okami: [link] or Alice from Pandora Hearts: [link] (far left).... I would rather not where a wig, but I'm willing.

See this? =Wacks right side of brain= That's called your imagination. You're supposed to USE IT!

Sorry if my replies are late, it can't be helped.

Well, to an extent. I was sneaking on to the computer when I wasn't supposed to, sooo... me dad took away the cable. But it's back!... and I'm going to an anime convention tomorrow. I have a costume. I am suck a dork.

Oh damn that sucks :ohnoes: I'm actually kinda doing the same--my mom wants me to get my permit soon so I'm taking online practice tests but they're so boring so I'm sneaking on here XD;; Glad to know you're back though!

Ooh, what anime convention? I've always wanted to go to an anime convention, but unfortunetly none are around here. I did some research and it turns out there's one near us, but they're all in the June/July time span. Luckily that's near my birthday, so I'm already asking to go to a convention as my birthday present. And blah, you're not lame for cosplaying. I plan on cosplaying as Celeste from Mirror's Edge whenever we go to a convention...which is really funny because Celeste has a costume that I'd never wear in my lifetime XD;;

Who're you cosplaying as, anyway?

It's called 'KumoriCon', and it's the biggest anime convention in Oregon. AND MORE STRANGE FOLK INFEST DOWNTOWN PORTLAND! :D

Kanaria, or the girl with the orange poofy pants in my gallery. I have a green wig! :icondweebdanceplz: Yeah. Unfortunately, unless your parents are willing to spend freakish amounts of money on you, chances are, a convention and costume are just about the only present you'd get! (Sorry, that's my scenario. My birthday is VERY close... Sept. 13!)

BTW... I would love to wear my costume outside of conventions and Halloween ;P I'd turn heads!
